On behalf of  ATA-DC Board of Directors, ATA-DC President Sevtap Schreffler released a yearly report that highlights the events, accomplishments, and challenges the organization and its members had in 2023. In her statement, Schreffler said “We want to take this opportunity to thank our community for supporting ATA-DC in our conquest for a stronger and more visible Turkish-American Community in the heart of the nation’s capital. It is with your support that we are able to strengthen and enrich the Turkish-American community in many ways in the Washington DC metropolitan area and serve you all.”

ATA-DC President sent an email to all members in an effort to facilitate open communication and transparency under her leadership.

Schreffler also highlighted how the organization is looking ahead to continue making difference in the pursuit of its mission. “As we turn the page to a new year, let’s carry forward the lessons learned, the triumphs celebrated, and the connections strengthened. The opportunities that lie ahead are vast, and I am confident that, with your continued dedication, we will reach new heights.” she said.
