ATA-DC COMMITTEES

 

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The membership development committee is responsible for all of our membership drives and campaigns. The team maintains ATA-DCs internal mailing lists and responds to all emails and actions from the membership. This committee prepares and delivers new member welcome packets to ensure our new friends have all the information they need to get and stay connected with ATA-DC.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The information technology committee designs and maintains the ATA-DC web site as well as provides a web hosting capability for other websites related to ATA-DC. The IT committee develops the mobile applications used by ATA-DC. The committee manages the ATA-DC email systems and lists, as well as the various databases needed by ATA-DC. This team is always watching for new technological ideas and how ATA-DC can leverage that to further our IT needs.

MARKETING

The marketing committee develops the annual marketing plan for ATA-DC, the team creates all promotional material, including podcasts, YouTube videos, Webinars as well as flyers and handouts. The committee creates surveys for various events to get public feedback on how ATA-DC is perceived. The Marketing committee also manages ATA-DCs recognition and awards program.

CULTURAL OUTREACH

Our Cultural Outreach committee works to create and expand ATA-DC’s relationships with other non-govermental organizations and groups which have similar missions. They seek to leverage those relationships that are mutally benifical and that advance ATA-DC goals. This committee manages our youth and student relations programs and our senior program.

COMMUNICATION

Our Communication Committee manages all of ATA-DC’s social media presence. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and others. Our social media messaging, official communications and responses are created and managed in this team. The committee produces all press releases and email blasts. They respond to all general email and social media requests. The committee produces the ATA-DC annual report. The committee prepares all grant requests. They produce all of the content for the award winning ATA newsmagazine and social media content.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

This committee manages and executes the committee and board nomination process and all ATA-DC elections. The committee updates and manages the ATA-DC By-laws and ensures all ATA-DC activities are in compliance. With the ATA-DC treasurer this committee manages the ATA-DC budget and tracks and controls all expenses. The committee controls the official ATA-DC bank account and credit cards and ensures all invoices are paid correctly. The committee ensures all donations are handled correctly and all tax documentation is correct. This committee works with our accountants and insurance company to ensure ATA-DC maintains its status and our donors and partner documentation is correct.
