Spotlight on Success:

Celebrating Inspiring Women in Our Community

ATA-DC will have its annual International Women’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 8 2025 at the Textile Museum of George Washington University

Join us for a special International Women’s Day event as we honor and celebrate the achievements of remarkable women making a difference in our community. During the event, we will have a panel featuring three distinguished guests:

✨ Prof. Esma Akın, MD, PhD

✨ Prof. Hande Özdinler, PhD

✨ Prof. Duygu Tosun Turgut, MD, PhD

In recognition of these women’s outstanding and inspiring contributions to academia and advancement through groundbreaking research and education, ATA-DC will present “Leadership Award” to each of them as a token of heartfelt appreciation from the Turkish-American community.

ATA-DC will also donate all proceeds from this event to Bridge to Türkiye’s “Educate a Girl” school project. If you are not able to attend the event but would like to support this project by sending donations, feel free to use this link: https://square.link/u/gCmvvgZZ
