ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!
Registration is now open for ATA-DC’s 2026–2027 Young Cultural Ambassadors Program (YCAP) — one of our most popular youth programs.
Since its launch in 2017, YCAP has provided high school students across the DC, Maryland and Virginia region with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership skills, engage with their communities, and build lasting connections.
Through YCAP, students can:
• Strengthen leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Participate in meaningful volunteer and community service opportunities
• Earn community service hours
• Meet professionals and learn about a variety of career paths
• Explore Turkish culture through events, arts, music and dance
• Take part in individual and team projects
• Build friendships and connect with other motivated students
More than 240 students have participated in YCAP since the program began.
Turkish language skills and previous volunteer experience are not required.
