In October 2024, ATA-DC reached a long-held milestone under the presidency of Sevtap Schreffler (2022–present), the purchase of the ATA-DC House, a permanent home for the organization and a symbol of six decades of perseverance, service, and unity.
Today, the Atatürk School holds its classes there, and the space has become an active hub for cultural events, seminars, and community gatherings, a true testament to the organization’s enduring mission. ATA-DC also just celebrated
its first anniversary as a recognized nonprofit in the state of Virginia, marking another important step in its growth and official recognition.
