Turkey: Home of Great Civilizations, Saturday, May 2, 2015



ATA-DC’s 34th Annual Teachers Workshop will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the BAU University. The workshop theme will be “Turkey: Home of Great Civilizations” and the program will feature speakers on Turkish history, foreign affairs, and culture as well as delicious Turkish food, folk dance performance, and a raffle for surprise prizes. All elementary, middle and high school social studies and history teachers are welcome. The workshop will take place from 10:00 am to 3:00pm and lunch will be served. Complete workshop schedule will be announced soon.

Parking is available on the side streets. Closest metro stops are Farragut West and McPherson Square on Blue/Orange/Silver lines and metro Center on Red Line.
