ATA-DC Ataturk Kids School 2015-2016 Registrations
ATA-DC's Ataturk School for Children is busily preparing for the 2015-2016 school year. For over 30 years, the Ataturk School has offered Turkish language and culture classes to elementary-school aged children in the DC Metro area. In addition to learning about Turkey and the Turkish language, children are able to socialize with other Turkish-American children and further develop their language skills.
New this year, classes will expand to include children age 4 by September 30, up to age 12. Also new this year, classes will be held at Chesterbrook Elementary School in McLean, Virginia. With the move to Chesterbrook, the students will have access to age-appropriate facilities, including a newly renovated playground.
Classes start on September 13 and run through May 2016. ATA-DC Board Member Besim Cafer is the Children's School Administrator. Any questions regarding the Children's School may be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
