Turkish coffee is the world’s oldest coffee brewing method and Turkish coffee culture is a 500-year-old ritual.
The distinctive experience of drinking coffee comes from this fine grinding, giving rise to a velvety froth, satisfying mouth feel and unique fragrance. It has a unique aroma and presentation; in other words, it has its own identity and tradition.
Turkish coffee is only coffee that can be used to predict the future!
Turkish coffee is never drunk to the very end. However, the dregs known as telve are not wasted, for now the fun starts: This thick muddy residue may hold the secret to your kismet. In these dark dregs, you can actually see the future!
Please join us for a fun presentation on Turkish Coffee traditions, its history and fortune telling sessions by Turkish Coffee Ladies!
The participation fee is $20 dollars per person and the proceeds will benefit the 2013 Turkish Festival.
